This book is 351 pages, hard cover, with a dustjacket, and many pictures. It tells about Jimmy playing fiddle at age five, and becoming known as: Junior Bryant, Little Fiddling Boy until his teen years when he went into the army during WW ll. He was critically wounded, and upon recovering, he was placed in a Special Services Unit as a musician on fiddle and/or guitar, entertaining the troops all over Europe with Bob Hope and many of the other greats that came over, until the end of the war in 1945. He had started seriously playing guitar by that time, and ended up in CA where the real action was/is in country music.

Acted with Roy Rogers in 12 movies and became one of The Sons of The Pioneers
Teamed up with Speedy West, a spectacular steel player, recording hundreds of records at Capital during the fifties.
On Cliffie Stone's Hometown Jamboree TV show in the fifties.
His inovative fiddle and awesome guitar were in great demand constantly throughout .
In the 1960's he wrote many instramentals, recording them in several albums at Imperial Records.
Jimmy became known as Fastest Guitar In The Country after his album by the same name.
Received Best Lead Guitar by the Academy of Country music three consecutive years.
Wrote Only Daddy That'll walk The Line, recorded by Whalen, Willie, Hank, Jr, Headhunters, etc.
